Vehicle Detail
* Up For Sale For The Very First Time Since 1969 With No Reserve * Let me began by saying this is as original as they come. The history on the Mustang is in early 1969, Mr.& Mrs. Jones purchased this Coupe new in Richmond, Virginia. They used it mainly as there second car around there farm. In 1982, sadly Mr. Jones passed away leaving an extra car around. There son, Stan Jones ( as seen in the picture near bottom ) flew in and drove back the Mustang to Los Angeles, California. Since then, it has never left the Golden State. Fast forward 28 year's later, after numerous of people over the year's knocking on his door and leaving little note's on his windshield asking if it might be for sale - Stan has held on to it as it was apart of his family. Now, it is up for sale for the very first time since 1969 . . . at 5 Days with No Reserve. An very original 1969 Mustang Coupe 302 V8 C4 Automatic. Only has 137,832 documented miles to date. Factory option's include: power steering, Air conditon and console. This is truly a honest car and it show's. Has had only one repaint since new, repainted the original color Indian Fire. The body is clean and pretty much straight. Look's to be all factory panels. Floor's and undercarriage are solid. Show's it has been a long time California resident. On the bottom of the passenger side door, it caught a little bit of damage backing out of the garage. Door open's and shut's just fine. A couple of very minor rust circles on the exterior skin of the door. Paint is a bit faded as it was paint in the late 80's. Overall the body is in great shape for being original. The interior is 100% Bone Stock. Never been recovered or painted inside. The factory Black knitted rare High Back interior is still in place and complete. The original am radio, steering wheel and dash is all there, Even the console has never been out of the car. What come's with original is normal wear and tear though. The doo'r have no cut out's or speaker hole's. Dash has a crack or two in it. Under the hood, it's very complete and the remains the stock 302. The motor has never been out of the car and was never taken apart. The original air cleaner, valve covers and a/c is untouch. Very hard to find a engine compartment left alone after so long. Running and driving just fine. Shift's into all gears and brakes good. Can be driven across country as it did back in 1982. Would make a great driver for someone. Could be restored or left alone as it grabs attention being original. Keep in mind, it's not perfect but in good shape as it was cared for all this year's. The address ( 354 ) in the picture with Stan match's the Mustang's paperwork just for your thought. The video take's place in the driveway where the Mustang was located most of it's life.
