For sale is a 1985 Honda Rebel. This bike is in working order and has a 2010 NY state inspection sticker on it. It is now off the road and uninsured. It starts right up and sounds great. I am told the Rebels get 60-75 miles per gallon. This bike sits two and has a backrest for a passenger's comfort. I feel this is a very clean and well kept motorcycle. This is an original model from 1985 and impressive for collectors of stylish bikes.This is a perfect bike for beginners because of its low seat (low center of gravity) and smaller engine size. Just got the bike back from it's first inspection with the mechanic yesterday, so it's ready to be ridden. He noted that the clutch lever was a little sticky and recommended that he do some work on it, but I'm busy getting ready to move and so will leave that to the buyer. Here's more info on the bike from the posting I just bought it from: The chrome is in pretty good shape. The tires have low miles on them. The bike comes with both the ignition key and gas tank key. The blinkers, taillight and headlight work fine, The horn, start switch both work great. The front brakes work fine, The rear brakes work fine, The clutch works great. The engine shifts just fine. It gets right up to speed. It comes with the original tool kit. The title is a clear NY state title with NO LIENS.... One reflector on the license plate holder is missing maybe a dollar part at a local hardware store or a home depot. I am not sure. The clutch cover has some wear near the right side foot peg, which is normal. On the right side exhaust pipe the chrome seams to have something dripped on it. I tried to get it off with my fingernail but had no luck. I didn't try very hard cause I didn't want to scratch the chrome. There are a couple stitches coming out on the back side of the backrest, which you can see in the pics. It has also been repainted. They did a good job.
