For sale is a decent little truck, 98K 1996 Sonoma 4 cylinder, 4l60e automatic, regular cab, short box, bed liner, SLE package, has power steering, windows, locks, etc. Good: Looks great, very little rust. Rides true down the road. 4 newer sneakers. New front brake lines. New timing chain, coils, ignition module and a few other odds and ends (oil pressure switch, TPS, maybe more). NY Sticker good until Fall 2010 Has doughboy key chain. New hood Clean/clear title Bad: The truck sat from 2003 until about a year ago, so needs the rusted rear brake line replaced. Seems to have oil pressure issue, in the red zone @ idle, okay while moving on road. Small exhaust leak @ front pipe, not obnoxious, but needs replacement in near future. Missing 2 hubcaps, on passenger side. Heater core shot, leaks when heater hoses connected (have new H/C, just haven't installed yet). Inside sort of smells because of leaking heater core. May have other issues, sold as-is, where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. It's a decent truck, with an oil pressure issue @ idle. It could be an easy fix with the oil pump or may need a long block. Would be a GREAT V8 swap project truck. Underside is very clean, frame is quality for the northeast and body is very good considering the year! Truck is located just outside Albany, NY. It is for sale locally.
