BMW Assist - 4 year roadside assistance, accident assistance, concierge, remote door unlock, stolen vehicle recovery (insurance discount). iPod integration - charges, select songs/artists/playlists via iDrive screen, iPod leather sleeve/holder. Bluetooth phone integration - call via car microphone & speakers, phonebook via iDrive screen, works perfectly with my iPhone 3G. Automatic xenon headlights - "turn" in corners, daylight "angel eyes", washers. Hill-holding clutch feature - keeps brakes applied for 2 seconds while you disengage the clutch, no roll back. Voice control - speak iDrive menu functions. Steering wheel controls - volume, phone, voice commands, track forward/back, phone book. Premium sound - 10 speakers, 300 watts, 7-band graphic equalizer, HD radio. Convenient access - keep keys in pocket/purse: doors & trunk lock/unlock automatically with touch on handle, press start button. 2 sets of keys - have detachable valet key, raise/lower top from outside car, manually lock/unlock door & trunk. Intelligent mirrors - auto-dimming mirrors at night, rear view mirror compass, heated side mirrors. Universal garage door opener - have not used, apartment dweller. Rear seat cover - BMW OEM, covers and protects, $300 value. Rain sensing wipers. Cruise control. Headlight washers. Steering wheel adjusts for height and reach. Always garaged in indoor apartment parking, has never seen snow. Hand washed monthly at car wash; hand waxed twice with Zymöl. Oil changed at 3,600 miles with full synthetic. Always use premium fuel. No smoking ever. Clutch driver from 16 years old. Full documentation included - receipts, Year of the One book. Have title in hand - paid cash in full at purchase. Shipping supported - long distance via 3rd party carrier, or I may possibly 1-way deliver, if within a reasonable distance, and I can arrange return transportation (ex. SoCal, NoCal, NV). History: 0-780 miles: BMW Dallas Used as display car at sponsored events and an executive car. Front spoiler repair - minor dent from golf course parking stop - 100% undetectable. Sales representative Ezeldin Elredy at BMW Dallas. In service date 5/11/2009; BMW service and warranty thru 5/11/2013. 780- 3,200 miles: drive car from Dallas to San Francisco home. Stops in Albuquerque, Phoenix, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe. @ 1,350 miles: Add 1 quart oil in Albuquerque.  No oil required since - always 100% full, check frequently. In Phoenix, at car wash, have small windshield ding repaired. @ 3,600 miles: Oil change. @ 4,200 miles: Dinan Stage 2 software upgrade. @ 6,500:  Front driver's side tire replacement. Low profile run flat tire develops bulge, later tear in the sidewall. Can drive 90-155 miles with flat tire with medium or light load in car. Probably due to a pothole. Replaced with identical tire - Bridgestone Potenza RE050 RFT. Currently around 6,800 miles. Will estimate well below 7,500 miles upon sale. "Known" BMW 1-Series issues: Airbag dashboard indentation flaw - yes. You are fully empowered to request a fix through end of 4 yr/50K mile warranty (thru 5/11/2013). Repair is not guaranteed to fix permanently. Completely cosmetic issue. HPFP (High Pressure Fuel Pump) issues, long crank - never. Broken 3rd brake light - never. Stereo static - never. Convertible top wear issues - no. Rattles/squeaks - no, there is just one extremely rough section of road where I've ever noted any noise. This is a very solid car. Other issues: MP3 music library playback from the hard drive "skips" occasionally. Sounds more like a "tape warble" than a skip. Not related to song - a replay doesn't skip. Has happened when parked and motionless. Must be a software issue. I expect BMW will fix in future software upgrades. I've test driven almost everything from BMW and many other makes.  I love cars. Japanese cars have reliability.  German cars have engineering excellence.  Italian cars have passion.  American cars have... well, I'm not sure, but the Ford GT was epic.  If you appreciate the feel of a car - the steering, brakes, suspension, sound, dynamics - you may be drawn, like me, to German cars. Within German cars, Volkswagen has the economy end of the scale, Porsche has high performance with a price to match, Audi has style, 4 wheel drive traction and stability, but with uninvolving driving dynamics.  BMW has a great blend of performance, dynamics, style, and price. The 135i is BMW's small car, but it is 100% BMW.  It has the full measure of creature comforts of the other models - exquisite Boston leather, high quality interior finishes, full electric and automatic adjustments.  The stock performance, but especially with the extra power of Dinan Stage 2, comes very close to the M3.  The electronics are cutting edge - HDD navigation, iPod/iPhone integration, voice control, MP3 library storage, automatic key entry, Google Maps reception, Xenon headlights, LED taillights.  The styling is defining - full Chris Bangle team influence, straight from the CS1 show car - you won't mistake it for anything else. It is practical.  You can seat 4 relatively comfortably.  The trunk is large, significantly larger than hardtop convertibles with the top down.  With the rear seat cover on, and the top down, you can easily load the rear seat up with a lot of cargo.  Yet it is a small car that can be parked easily.  The 4 year/50,000 mile warranty, including routine service, is great. Dynamically, the engine is an extremely smooth, inline, twin-turbo 6 cylinder.  The 6-speed manual transmission has short throws and a pleasing, mechanical feel.  The clutch is silky and the brakes are strong but easy to control.  A thick wheel and electric power steering put you in touch with the road.  The 18 inch wheels and M-sport suspension are firm but comfortable.  The accelerator is linear and progressive, but with massive low-end torque and 384 hp (with Dinan Stage 2), acceleration is phenomenal (stock 0- 60 mph: 4.9 sec, ¼-mile: 13.6 sec @ 104 mph; with Dinan, even quicker). And then the emotional attraction.  Find a curvy road with a great view, put the top down, seat heaters on, and enjoy the sights, smells, sounds of nature and your car together.  Everything you touch is leather or a soft material.  If it's dark, there's an orange glow from the dash.  Shift up and down the gears and enjoy the turbine smoothness of the engine.  Pull over, step out, and enjoy the complex curves and lines of the body.  You bond. I took excellent care of this car in its first year.  I look forward to a new enthusiast enjoying this superb vehicle now.
