Vehicle Detail

2006 Hayabusa LIMITED EDITION Own a KING No Reserve So my life is taking me somewhere this bike can't carry me- to an International Medical School. Current student loans aren't very forgiving either and I am forced to sell my Limited Edition Hayabusa. Call 248-895-9701 with any questions or if you would like to see it in person. 24,836 GENTLE miles Runs great. NO smoke pouring out of the exhaust! 50+ mpg Since my ownership at 1,277mi, I can guarantee this bike has: NEVER been Wheelied NEVER been Raced NEVER been to the Track NEVER been Dropped The bike is COMPLETELY STOCK other than a Zero Gravity windscreen. I purchased this bike in April 2007 with 1,277mi on the odometer from Atlanta. I flew down and drove it all the way back to Michigan. The majority of the miles are from cross country trips and commuting to work which was about 90mi round trip. It was dropped at low speed by the original owner which is why it does have a rebuilt title. When I flew down to Atlanta, the owner had already primed the plastics for a repaint. So I didn't buy it for its looks. I purchased it, drove it back (other than the infamous 4500rpm Hayabusa vibration, it rode like a dream) and I went on eBay, scouring the website for the original Pearl White/Silver plastics. I found all the pieces, however they were with prior scratches/damage and I went on to replace the primed plastics with those. The bike has ALWAYS been reliable and ran excellent. I rode this bike to the deserts of Las Vegas, Washington DC, through the mountains of Colorado, and even to California. Never once did I have any issues with it. I've taken great care of the motor, almost ALL the oil changes have been done between 2,000 and 2,500mi. Here is a better idea of HOW I drive my Busa. I drive for high gas mileage. On the highway I typically got 53mpg. The ORIGINAL front and rear tires were changed at 17,321 mi. I know bikers who've changed their REAR tire at 3,000, they obviously drive much more aggressively than I. Once again, if you are looking for a TROPHY bike, this is NOT the one. There are too many minor visual imperfections. If you're like me, and you have/want a bike to RIDE it, The clutch, brakes, sprockets, and chain are original. Great handling Dunlop Roadmasters were installed at 17,321mi. New spark plugs and a Throttle Body Sync were done at 17,593mi. Whether you are an avid motorcyclist or not, an original chain used for over 24,000mi will need to be changed sooner rather than later. The sprockets, should generally be changed at the same time as the chain. The bike still has the original battery and keep in mind that Hayabusas do have large engines which require a lot of cranking power. The original clutch, which does NOT slip at all in any gear, does have over 24k miles on it. As a side note, new radiator coolant was put into the bike last season at the 17,593 mark. Finally, here is the link to some more closeup pictures. http://s985.photobucket.com/albums/ae337/gf1600/The%20Kings%20Scars/ One final note, if paying by Cashier's check or money order, I need to hold onto the title until the funds clear. As soon as that happens the title will be mailed promptly. On May-15-10 at 21:54:45 PDT, seller added the following information: gf1600 store
