The pictures speak for themselves. There are a few little dents on the body of the car and some very light scratches but overall it is shiny and clean. The body panel gaps are even and all of the moldings are present and secure. The chrome is shiny and free of any pitting or lifting. The wheels are in great shape and the Bridgestone Turanza tires have 7/32nds or better all around with a brand new unused spare in the trunk. The headlight bezels are crystal clear without any weather damage showing. All rubber door, window, and trunk seals are intact and pliable with no cracking or splitting. The interior of this classic Mercedes is in equally nice shape. There is a built in front window screen to shade the dash and front seats from the sun, along with tinted windows all around to shade the interior. The wear worth mentioning on the interior is the left side bolster on the driver's seat, and the center wood trim is cracked in places. The rest of the seats are in awesome shape along with the door panels, sills, and seals. The carpets are clean with good floor mats and no foul odors. The headliner was replaced with a perforated vinyl headliner and it is in excellent shape. Both sunvisors have good clips and open and close properly with no broken bits. The glove box door opens and closes with the springy authority of 1983, as it should. The first aid kit is still there, although not particularly usable anymore, and the lid is not broken. There is a Kenwood CD player as well as a beautiful Zebrano wood shifter knob in perfect condition. Cosmetically this is a wonderful car, and mechanically it matches. 2 months ago, this car had all four calipers rebuilt, new brake lines/fluid all around, rotors turned and new pads. Also at this time all 5 glow plugs were replaced. This week the car received (all new): Motor Mounts Shifter Bushings Breather Hose Throttle Bushing Oil/filter Change Transmission filter/gasket/fluid change Both Fuel Filters Primer Pump Fuel Lines Hood Pad Air Filter Air Cleaner mounts (3) Wiper Blades Fresh A/C recharge, Ice cold! This car starts, goes, and stops wonderfully, if you like Mercedes Diesels from this era you won't go wrong with this one. I would put it up against any other 300D on Ebay and it would shame most of them, even with 174k on the clock. It is ready to go right now and needs nothing but a loving new owner. This listing is for a beautiful 1983 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel. The pictures speak for themselves. There are a few little dents on the body of the car and some very light scratches but overall it is shiny and clean. The body panel gaps are even and all of the moldings are present and secure. The chrome is shiny and free of any pitting or lifting. The wheels are in great shape and the Bridgestone Turanza tires have 7/32nds or better all around with a brand new unused spare in the trunk. The headlight bezels are crystal clear without any weather damage showing. All rubber door, window, and trunk seals are intact and pliable with no cracking or splitting.

The interior of this classic Mercedes is in equally nice shape. There is a built in front window screen to shade the dash and front seats from the sun, along with tinted windows all around to shade the interior. The wear worth mentioning on the interior is the left side bolster on the driver's seat, and the center wood trim is cracked in places. The rest of the seats are in awesome shape along with the door panels, sills, and seals. The carpets are clean with good floor mats and no foul odors. The headliner was replaced with a perforated vinyl headliner and it is in excellent shape. Both sunvisors have good clips and open and close properly with no broken bits. The glove box door opens and closes with the springy authority of 1983, as it should. The first aid kit is still there, although not particularly usable anymore, and the lid is not broken. There is a Kenwood CD player as well as a beautiful Zebrano wood shifter knob in perfect condition. Cosmetically this is a wonderful car, and mechanically it matches. 2 months ago, this car had all four calipers rebuilt, new brake lines/fluid all around, rotors turned and new pads. Also at this time all 5 glow plugs were replaced.

I would put it up against any other 300D on Ebay and it would shame most of them, even with 174k on the clock. It is ready to go right now and needs nothing but a loving new owner.
