This is a very rare opportunity to buy a true factory original (un-modified) stock STI with only 17k original miles. The car has had a pampered life having been owned by two car collectors here in the Maryland area. The car was purchased new in Virginia. I own several dozen collector cars and have used the STI very little over the past year or so. I have decided to let it go into a new home since it's mainly sitting in the garage (garaged all of it's life) along side many other special cars of mine. The car drives / performs like new. Engine / Transmission / Clutch all sound and feel like new. This car has never been raced or modified in any way and never abused or driven hard (very rare to hear or find in an STI's history). I just had it fully serviced using Motul Full Synthetic Oil. The car interior smells and looks like new as well since it's never been smoked in or abused in any way. The original window sticker and all Subaru books and manuals come with the car as well. The first owner had a very nice high-end sound system installed using an Alpine CDA-9811 head unit with 50x4 watt outputs, XM ready and MP3 features. The car also came with the factory Subaru security system upgrade kit. The tires are Michelin Pilot's which are in perfect condition and the gold alloy rim's are almost new because the original owner had replaced the stock rims with aftermarket silver polished rims that I didn't like, so I ordered a new set of Rota aftermarket gold rims that look like the original one's. The engine can be eaten off of because it is in pristine clean and original condition as well. The paint / exterior condition is a 9.5 out of a 10 (10 being a new car). Because of the time this car has spent in the garage, the sun UV's have done virtually no damage to the condition of the paint, and it has also spent very little life sitting in parking lots getting all scratched up and dinged. I do want to note that about a year and a half ago the car did have an incident on an ice patch at a slow speed. The impact damage was to the rt. rear suspension and rt. rear qtr. panel area and was fixed perfectly. There was no other car involved and no reports made. (carfax and auto-check are clean with no accident reports). I wanted to be honest about this because there is no reason to hide this due to the fact that it was repaired perfectly to as new condition.
