I bought this car 9 years ago with the intention of restoring her to her former glory. However, it's time I realized that I'm never going to get around to it and pass her on to someone who will. I'm hoping she will go to someone that can restore her. There aren't that many mid 60s classics driving around anymore! I've basically had her in storage for the last 9 years. I've fired her up and driven her around the block every couple of months since I bought her just to keep the engine from seizing up and to keep the parts lubricated. Yes, she runs and drives! Car has mid 90s on the odometer, which I believe is probably accurate -- of course, with a car this age it doesn't really matter. I am at least the 3rd owner. The previous owner bought her in Pennsylvania and that person may have been the original owner. The second owner had her repainted to the current color. This is a restoration project but a lot of the parts are there for you to work with. The car has the 330 Cubic Inch V-8 with a 2 speed automatic transmission. Car will require a new battery and rear brake pads and the rubber on the tires is getting hard so those will need to be replaced as well. I've tried to show all the bad parts about the car in the pictures and tried to show all the main rust spots that I could. The car has bad rust around the bottom of the rear window. The opening caused by the rust around the window has allowed moisture into the passenger compartment which has mildewed the headliner, carpets, and seats and also allowed water to seep into the trunk. Therefore, she needs some rust repair + a total reupholstering of the interior. I'll be sad to see her go, but she deserves an owner that can bring her back to a good condition. Car is also listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction for a local buyer. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping. She runs and drives, but it'd probably be better if you trailered her away as the rear brake pads are worn away.
