The current owner purchased this important car in 1963, in Pennsylvania (he is the second owner). In 1971 he rented 2063 to Paramount pictures where it was used in several scenes of the Godfather and driven by actor James Caan. After the movie s/n 2063 enjoyed its celebrity status and was used in local meets on the East Coast In the early 80s, the current owner moved to its present location in Arkansas where he retired. At the time he quit driving it ran well but has since suffered the elements of time from sitting in a covered carport. This car was originally delivered in Morristown, New Jersey and is s/n 63 of the 75 or so LeBaron Broughams believed to be built. Listed in Turnquists book -The Packard Story- as a semi-custom only about 15 have survived. This car has the under the running board antenna and the original tire chains are included in their original bag in the trunk. This is a non running vehicle but it rolls freely and we were able to move it easily, with a flatbed, for picture taking purposes.
