For sale is a 1992 Nissan Maxima 3.0 Ltr. DOHC 24valve , 5speed stick , 152700 mi car. This car is owned by a auto repair shop manager , thus it was maintained above & beyond the normal maintenance & repair schedule , it was my primary daily driver . Body is in extreemely good/straight/rust free condition for a daily driven car , undercarriage/floor pan/frame also in verry good condition (very lite/minor surface rust for the age). Body does have 2 or three very minor dents (pictured) in both rear quarters , and a couple super minor scrapes in the bumper covers (neither cover is broken/split/cracked through). The black leather inteirrior is worn & cracking/splitting. Does NOT come with a radio , but all 4 speakers do . The air conditioning Kicked butt last season. Ya, those are not Nissian factory fog/driving lights , but they do work . Sunroof glass is cracked , but it does NOT leak & it does function properly . Recent maintenances performed ; *W/I the last year - 4 new tires , alignment , pa inspection (safety & emission) , new headlight assemblies , new rear brake pads , new rear rotors and l/r caliper , spark plugs , fuel pump & fuel filter. *W/I the last 2 1/2 years - New ; Ft brakes & rotors , Clutch , both ft power window motors & master switch , both axle shafts and rear struts.. NOW THE BAD NEWS ; ENGINE DOES NOT RUN .... While driving around 35mph , heard a "pop/klunk/buck" in the drivetrain & motor shut down . It Does crank , but it's off in compression & the front cyl head valves are not moving. It apears that something let loose in the/with the timing CHAIN operation..But thats "no guarranty" , I did not remove the timing covers for further inspection of what happened. Car has been sitting since December 2009 (for 6 mos.)
