This vehicle has been in an accident and that's why it has a REBUILT SALVAGE TITLE. It does not have a SALVAGE title like many people mistakenly believe! When a vehicle is brand new and/or has never been in an accident, it holds a CLEAR TITLE. Because this vehicle has been in an accident, it received a SALVAGE TITLE. But, after the vehicle was repaired, passed state inspection, and admitted as legal for use on the road again, it was given a REBUILT TITLE. Thus, the vehicle now holds a REBUILT TITLE.
