Vehicle Detail

Vehicle has been totally rebuilt from the ground up - undercarriage cleaned and painted - motor (1984 4 bolt 350 crate engine with mild cam),trans ( new 5 speed T5 ), all upholstry (hand sewn), body work and paint 3 years ago - pictures verify arrow straight body - transaxle beefed with large axles and bearings, custom tunnel for trans - custom radiator, 2500 cfm electric fan - large roll bar (fits under top when up), large engine oil cooler (mounted in front of radiator), top is also new (never seen weather), special larger soft rubber tires for better grip, all brakes and steering inspected and re installed or replaced as appropriate, brake calipers rebuilt, rotors replaced, bearing replaced, old knee shocks on transaxle removed, special kit and tube shocks installed, oak spare tire cover (in trunk), new heater core and blower motor (hoses for heater NOT HOOKED UP) - (only drive it in nice weather), all gauges work - speedo and tach are electronic auto meter - front air dam installed, bumpers removed, straightened and rechromed, original AC Cobra hood scoop installed,Corvette side exaust pipes and covers, new hood release and cable (plus emergency release hidden under hood) , replaced windshield, custom grill and front directional signals, dash redone - new glove box - SO MUCH I CAN'T REMEMBER IT ALL! Car is a BLAST to drive - sounds meant and goes! A real attention getter and a better surprise for those who think little foreign sports cars won't go - corners like on rails - just a joy to drive and show! Inspected in May 2010 - breezed right thru - emissions and safety - have documents (of course). Previous question concerned transaxle - It holds just fine (maybe a little low geared),and unless you intend to hammer it the transaxle works great. It probably will fail IF you pop the clutch too often! Only one problem I am aware of - the oil pan seeps just a little - probably from just sitting in the garage - I have a NEW chrome pan (not installed) that goes with the car.
