Here we have a beautiful 1966 Mustang convertible. This Mustang has a 289 engine (C- code) and AUTOMATIC Transmission..... Factory equipped with the very desireable STEEL STYLE WHEELS WITH BLUE CENTER CAPS AND RADIAL TIRES, INTERIOR CONSOLE, . ....AM-FM-CD PLAYER hidden in glove box with after market kick panel speakers. This mustang also has the original factory AM Radio .... Dual Exhaust .... Tinted Windows ... Power Top...Luggage Rack.... two tone color Bucket Seats and door panels. The paint and convertible top are only several years old. The car has had one repaint (base coat/clear coat) of the same original color. The convertible top is black and in excellent condition. The floor boards appear to have been repaired by a previous owner with new sheet metal under the rear and passenger seat then repainted.(See Photos). A new heater core and defroster hoses were recently installed. The transmission has been rebuilt with a shift kit and performs exceptionally well on excelleration. Mileage is an estimate, as it exceeds the mechanical limits of the odometer. Some new front end parts like bushings and shocks have been installed. This mustang gets compliments all the time, especially with the matching exterior/interior paint combination and blue center caps. The engine has new chrome valve covers, an upgraded aluminum radiator with aluminum over flow tube, flex fan and MSD ignition and distributor. The engine still has the original intake manifold and 2 barrell carb. but accelerates/shifts very well as mentioned above. Look at the pictures, this car presents itself very well, while not a 100 point flawless show car ... it will hold its own on a local show and shine car show. The chrome and bright work show very well, especially around the pillar posts that are typicially pitted with cars this age(see photo).
