Rare 400i Manual Gearbox, Fresh Extensive Service! Featured today is this beautiful classic Ferrari V12 coupe, the lovely 400i! With crisp lines penned by Pininfarina, room for four, and the classic Ferrari V12 motor, the 400i is a wonderful way to experience a classic Ferrari. This particular 400i is fitted with the rare 5-speed manual gearbox, and has covered 45,950 miles. It's black with soft black leather interior, which contrasts nicely with the light grey carpets. This Ferrari has undergone a significant amount of mechanical service in the past fifty miles, including the following: recoating the headers, new exhaust, refinish rear bumper, replace main fuel lines, complete tune-up including new fuel pumps, remove and rebuild self-leveling rear gas shock system, rebuild brake calipers and replace brake lines, replace starter solenoid, and new tires. This service was performed at a cost that exceeded $20,000, at the Ferrari of Houston service department. The car has been repainted at some point in the past, and the interior leather appears to be new, and is exceptionally nice. The 400i is the least expensive entry into the world of classic V12 Ferrari automobiles, and this particular example has the desirable 5-speed manual gearbox. Though a nicely maintained Ferrari, this is still a 30+ year old handcrafted automobile, and has a few minor issues. The power mirrors do not appear to be working correctly, the fuel indicator gauge is somewhat intermittent, and the air conditioning is currently not cooling (though it may cool after charging, as it was working correctly last summer). It has a few scratches and chips here and there, but overall I would classify it in very nice condition given it's age.
