This gem was produced on October 20th 1953 and has been authenticated by the British Motor Heritage Trust. This was one the first 86 models produced and was released as a 1953/54 model. This model has had 3 previous owners and won many shows during its time in the U.K. It has just over 47,000 original miles on the original engine. It was dry stored in a climate controlled environment for most of the last 40 years and has been extensively maintained to the original standards throughout its life. This Series One was completely dismantled by the previous owner who actually built this particular car on the production line before buying it from its first owner. He meticulously put this old girl back together using all original parts. The Series One Models are rare to find and even harder to find in this kind of condition. This car has been featured on the Land Rover Chronicles website and is infamous for winning many awards on the show circuit in the UK.
