Here is a very nice 1969 Mustang Convertible; I am selling this car for a friend, whose husband passé don before he had time to enjoy this car. I need to make clear and this description is based upon, his wife’s knowledge of the car, my inspection of the car, and a short drive around the local neighborhood since the car is not registered at this time. The mustang appears very solid, in great condition and has many new parts. I have been informed the car has a completely rebuilt 351W engine with less then 500 miles on it since rebuild. 4bl Holley carb. FMX Transmission, and a 9” limited slip differential. From my inspection I found the car has the SSBC power brake system with 4 piston calipers up front. I can see new front springs/shocks, new power steering cylinder and control valve. The floors and frame are very are solid and straight. Someone has cleaned up and painted the underside. Global West subframe connectors have been installed. Carpet and interior appears new. The convertible top appears to be new. The paint job has some nicks and scratches but is in generally good shape I would rate the paint condition as good “driver quality”. The car has been sitting around a while, however I charged up the battery and the engine started up easily sounds great and runs strong. The engine sounds and performs like it has a performance cam installed (has a rumble in the idle). I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. I miss counted the bolts on the Automatic Transmission pan, This pan has 14 Bolts which = C6 Transmission according to my books. The FMX has 15 bolts! I also noticed the pan gasket has a very minor drip of AT fluid. Sorry for the inconvenience this mistake may have caused.
