This is a rare time to purchase a 1949 Ford Thames panel that has not been butchered and still has all original parts and running gear in place and can be driven as is. I removed gas tank to clean and repair but it needs replacing(not done) have a temporary to run and drive around. We had at a British Car Show two weeks ago as the ballot box (took out one of rear windows to stuff ballots in) Had a blast driving around, STARTS, RUNS and DRIVES, have not had on open road. Someone before me did a scuff and shoot paint job,however I can tell some attempt made on rear body(poor work) but have not seen anything that was major. have included photos underneath. This is not perfect and rear loading doors (aluminum) need the most work but found replacements for $500. in Ca. I have been looking for an affordable THAMES for many years before this one and if my business plans and storage had not changed I would not be selling this one. My loss your gain This thing is small, 91" wheelbase and 12'-0" overall, Lights work, horn works, heater works, Windshield cranks out and side cowl vents open.
