Vehicle Detail
1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider VIN # AR665230 2nd Owner! We acquired from original owner in 1995 at Tucson, Arizona with 75k original mileage. The beautiful and infamous "Boat Tail Spider", Osso di Seppia's odometer today reads 91k. Garaged each day and serviced regularly, we have put less than 2k miles per year! This is the best original and well-preserved "driver" out there. A true beauty, a timeless roadster that remains in absolute ORIGINAL condition. No tasteless mods or wannabe performance upgrades. This is pure stock, unadulterated Italian mechanics, original engineering as it was intended with that legendary & sublime, throaty dual-Weber carburetors and that classic 60s rag top appeal. Features all restored in past 6 months: New vinyl top & rear snap-in seat pieceNew 3-Piece EXHAUST (IAP), including new, stock muffler Professional body restoration of minor dings and divots. Resprayed "IVORIO" (DuPont original color) +Clear Coat - exterior only (we did not pull engine) & the essential nose arc is intact and original. No body rust! No chassis rust! Absolutely no rust! ... undercarriage is clean! As with any "driver" vintage automobiles, there are several compromised items to point out to a potential buyer: Driver door card is warp, damaged from age (easily replaced with one of better quality & this part is widely available) Some rubber gaskets around the light housings and bumpers are dried-out from age and should be replaced (again, widely available). Many parts aged/patina as per normal exposure to the elements and some of the emblems are cracked or slightly bent out of shape. Tires show fine tread, but should be replaced for safety due to 5 years and normal aging & rotation.Horn assembly, just inside steering column needs to be reconnected - all parts are there - it came loose & we cannot reattached We urge serious bidders to please email or call for more details about this stellar example of La Ferrari dei poveri. Call (912) 344-4910, and please leave a message. We will get back to you in short time. ** International winner to pay all transport expenses We can arrange shipment from Port of Savannah/Garden City, GA, USA, for you, or delivery in North America via car-carry service. We will personally put her on board! Arrivederci e buona fortuna!
