This is a very clean Grand Cherokee for the mileage, everything works as it is supposed to including the air conditioning which cools quickly and well. The tires have less than 15K miles on them and the brakes still have plenty of life. The engine runs strong has excellent oil pressure and burns no oil but does have a collapsed lifter which makes a very noticable peck when the engine is running. At some point it is going to need a new set of lifters installed to make the noise go away. Transmission and transfer case are all in good working order and the transmission has been serviced in the last 50K miles. There is a picture of the worst damage on the vehicle which is on the tailgate, there are also a couple of small parking lot dings that does not show up in the pictures. Over all the paint is nice and still has its factory shine, the aluminum wheels are starting to show some light corrosion in spots but still look pretty good. All of the glass is good, no chips or cracks, there are no rips or tares in the upholstery or headliner. As stated above a very clean vehicle especially considering the mileage. Due to the cost of gasoline and the fact that we drive this vehicle about 400 miles per week we have decided to replace it with a car that gets better fuel mileage. This Jeep came in very handy this past winter getting around in all of the heavy snows that we had here in western VA. I must have a minimum $300 deposit via Paypal within 48 hours of the close of the auction. The balance of payment in full must be made via cash or Paypal within 30 days of the close of the auction and the vehicle must be picked up at the same time. This vehicle is also advertised locally so I do reserve the right to close the auction early for a local sale.On May-09-10 at 05:31:02 PDT, seller added the following information: A few things I want to ad is this Jeep has after market halogen headlight assemblies which give much better lighting when driving at night, we also have the original headlight assemblies that will be included with the vehicle. My wife also wants me to ad that the interior is clean and there is no damage to the interior but she would suggest cleaning the seats because there are a few dirty spots on them. I have had some questions about the lifter noise so I would also like to ad that I would suggest replacing the lifters in the engine soon rather than at some point as the pecking noise from the collapsed lifter will not get any better until you replace it.
