1970 Dodge W300 1 ton Power Wagon, 318LA, NP435 Transmission, NP 205 Transfer Case, DANA 70s w/ 5.86 ratio, hard to find 9ft stepside bed. 318 starts right up, runs good, not smokey, could use a carb kit, requires a little manual choke to keep it idling. Just replaced the exhaust manifold gaskets 4spd trans shifts well, no funny noises, t-case operates fine, Warn lockout hubs, heavy duty clutch per the SERT tag (you can feel it!). May have been equipped with a factory PTO winch, as it has the heavier 1750# front springs. Rear has auxiliary springs, total is rated at 4050#s per side. Body condition is above average for this type of work truck, floors are solid but have some surface rust, truck came from Idaho. Drivers door needs adjustment, passenger side has a dent. Front windshield needs to be replaced. Bed is in fair-good condition, fenders are rough, tailgate needs some attention. Original wood floor is deteriorated and needs replaced. Shop built cab running boards are patterned after the originals but much stronger and heavier. Front and rear bumpers are not original, auxiliary tank on the drivers side still in use, not sure if it is dealer add-on. Original two piece wheels, but spare appears not origial. Needs tires. Paint appears to be original. Power brakes work fine, e-brake does not work, but has a working MICO-LOCK brake. No power steering but turns easier than you might expect. Title is not in my name, I did not transfer it, but it is signed by the previous owner so there should be no problems transfering it.
