Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a restorable 1976 Olds 442. It appears that the color of this car is quite rare as this is the only one I have ever seen. Body: The body of the vehicle is pretty straight, but it does have rust as you see in the photos. Some of the rust is in typical places for this body style car, especially around the port- hole syle window The trunk and the hood need to be replaced due to rust. Both quarters have rust, as seen in the photos but he drives side has very little. Both doors have minimal rust and they open and close very nicely. The floor pans have rust, as also seen in the photos. The trunk has some rust holes, due to water leaking in. The frame of the car is in very good shape with only light surface rust. Engine: This car came from the factory with a 350 Olds and it appears that’s what is still in it, although the intake, carb and distributor are missing (these should be easy to find). I was told when I purchased the car that there was a knocking in the engine, but I cannot start the car to confirm this because of the missing parts. The condition of the transmission is unknown to me. The exhaust appears to be in pretty good shape. The car has headers and NOT the stock manifolds. Interior: The seats were redone at some point and are near perfect without tears or cracks etc. The headliner is in good shape and does not need replacing, The carpet is the original and need replacing. The console is in decent shape. The glass is in good shape with the exception of maybe one gravel chip. I have five factory rims that go with the car but I don't have the trim rings. I have a clear Texas Title to the car. I am willing to discuss delivery at a $1.25 a loaded mile (one way), which is very reasonable. If I am to deliver the car, a larger deposit needs to be discussed. You can leave it at our house for 30 days for free if you need too; we have a large fenced back yard where it can be stored, but the car will need to be paid for in full within 7 days of auctions end. I ask that you put up a $200.00 deposit within 24 hours of the auctions ending using Pay Pal. If I am to deliver the car, a larger deposit needs to be discussed. The remainder must be paid within 7 days. You will need to have at least 10 positive feedbacks in order to bid or your bid WILL be cancelled. If you have too much recent negative feedback, your bid will be cancelled. ***If you click the "Buy it Now" option, an immediate deposit of $200.00 will be required or the auction will continue*** Additional photos are available on the following link: http://s313.photobucket.com/albums/ll372/cledesma2409/1976%20Oldsmobile%20442/ If the car does not sell, I will part it out!! Thank you all for interest and good luck!!
