Up for auction is a 71 BMW 1600 , I purchased this from the original owner, it's a one owner car. The fellow that owned this (thousands and thousands into this car over the years) I have all the receipts to prove it. The engine and drivetrain were rebuilt at one time as well as a full restoration of the body, the car was always garage kept which is why it has no body rot as well as spending it's good part of it's life in California. The car has been put up on blocks for the past few years alls that it needed to get it going was a new fuel pump, it started right up and ran quite well with the exception of the carburetor which needs to be rebuilt, the car runs very well but not perfect The car is in very good mechanical condition but needs a cosmetic overhaul new paint, headliner, would be the first things I would do, the car comes with an extra trunk lid, the one that is on the car has some blistering I believe it's just paint but it does have a perfect trunklid that comes with it It's an one owner car good mechanical condition, thousands of dollars invested in it, but does need a cosmetic makeover, I have included allot of photos but please ask any questions before bidding.
