Up for auction is a 2000 Honda Insight Hybrid Electric Gas 5 Speed Manual Custom Coupe. This car looks nice and has the factory paint with some custom painted teal, silver, and black striping graphics on the sides hood and rear bumper. This car has custom leather seat covers to make it look like real leather interior and leather on the door panels. This car is capable of getting 70MPG in the city and 61 highway. The car has a current MPG on the screen of 54.7 MPG. We drove this car about 50 miles. The car is a ULEV- ultra low emmissions vehicle, it is C.A.R.B certied and LEV- epa certified. The car comes with the original window sticker, owners manual and extra keys. The overall actual condition of the car cosmeticly is pretty good, the paint and body are in good shape the tires looks good and the interior is pretty clean, the drivers side corner of the leather seat cover is ripped into the cloth this car be seen in the pictures. The clutch feels good it releases just as it should. Mechanically the car does run and drive fine but... the check engine light is on and the IMA light is on, to the best of our knowledge we believe right now the car is just running on the gas engine and not the hybrid system, we have not had our mechanics look into this and this is the way the car will be sold. We have decided not to put a "buy it now" price on this car SO there is NO Reserve! We encourage you to come check the car out before bidding if possible.
