Tires are fair, probably 20% left on rear, and 30-35% left on fronts. 99% of the miles on this truck are highway miles driven by the original owner traveling through Texas & Oklahoma for work. He was a constuction superintendent driving to jobsites. If you run a CARFAX it will probably show three owners, which is correct~just that the miles were nearly all driven by the first owner. He traded the F250 in at a Ford Dealer in Texas, it was then bought by a guy in Indiana for his son, with the agreement his son would pay him back for it....you can guess what happened there. I bought it from the guy in Indiana. They only drove it a few hundred miles before he realized his son wasn't going to pay him back.I bought the truck from him with the idea of making a Harley Davidson F250 clone to pull my boat with. I've since sold my boat, and really have no other need for a big truck. When I bought the truck, the original bed was dented pretty badly from having cargo carelessly loaded over the side. The truck HAS NOT been wrecked. I still have the original bed if you want to see it. I put a nice used take off 2008 Super Duty Bed on it, which has the new "SUPER DUTY" tail gate. The front of the bulkhead on the bed was painted the correct black before the bed was installed, so it doesn't need to come back off.The bed has some dents in the floor, but nothing a spray in liner won't hide. I also installed Genuine OEM Ford take off painted bumpers front and rear. The truck has an EXTREMELY nice interior! Just needs the carpet shampooed and the interior would be near perfect, even though the carpet is not bad at all. The truck has spent it's life in Texas, so of course it's rust free. The body does have a few dents and dings, that you would expect. The worst of which is on the passenger side doors, but nothing that would require body panel replacement, just repair. I've owned several of the 1999- and newer F250's and F350's over the years, and the 7.3 engine in this one is as powerful as anyone I've owned. It's never been chipped, drag raced, or thrashed in anyway. There are no funny noises and there are no oil leaks. The transmission almost surely has been replaced at some point, however I have no proof of it.It shifts firmly through all gears, just like it should, and again no funny noises or leaks. There is a puff of blue smoke on initial start up, which goes away quickly. It's most like the injectors or valve stems seals, if you wanted to resolve the smoke, but it's really not that bad. The 7.3 Power Stroke cranks easily every time.It cranked in 15 degree weather this past winter with just two cycles of the glow plugs, which is as cold as it gets in this part of NC. I'm pretty detail orriented, and try to over describe~never under describe, so here are a list of things that I have noticed that are issues on the truck: -Needs dents/dings repaired and paint. -Parking brake cable needs replaced. -Interior light will not go off...probably a door switch needs replaced or adjusted. -Spare tire is missing -Plastic part of the overhead console is missing. The trip computer is there, and works. These covers are around 125.00 on ebay. -Truck has factory keyless entry, but needs new remote. -Tail pipe stops just past rear axle (very end is missing). I was planning on installing an aftermarket exhaust. The truck has new dark window tint, and ventvisors installed. I have installed new front ball joints, and all the tie rod ends feel fine. The steering is nice and tight now. When I bought the truck one of the power steering lines was leaking, and I replaced it with a new line, however the pump may have run dry at some point. It makes a slight "whine", and may need to be replaced in the future. With a paint job and a little TLC,this could be as nice as any F250 on the road. As I noted before,I was going to make it a Harley clone,so the painted bumpers have already been installed. It would be very easy and inexpensive to finish it up this way. This truck also has the Gray Leather, which is hard to find (most black F250's have tan), and I thought the Gray would look much better in a Harley truck. Please ask any questions you have BEFORE bidding. If it's convenient for you, I welcome you to come see the truck for a personal inspection. I'm just north of Charlotte, NC in Huntersville, NC. I'm 2 minutes off I-77. I'm an honest person, honest ebayer and have sold several expensive vehicles over the years on ebay with success and happy winners. Please don't assume anything, and ask as many questions as you have. I have mobile email, and can respond quickly. You can email me you phone number If you would rather talk in person. I don't want any surprises when you recieve the truck. I'm happy to work with any shipping plans that you make.I can meet the shipper, or take the truck to their location in Charlotte and drop it off. Only bid if you're sure you are ready, able, and willing to buy. YOU ARE BIDDING TO BUY THE TRUCK, not to come look at it,THEN decide if you want it. If you need to see the truck in person before buying, come take a look at it BEFORE you bid. Please have your funding secured BEFORE bidding. Most banks will not loan money on a high mileage vehicle. I have clear title in hand, and it will leave with the truck when it's paid in full,or I will FedEx it to you if you're having the truck shipped. I don't have the truck for sale locally or advertised by any other means, and I don't have a "Buy It Now" price.I'm truly not sure what the truck is worth as it sits,so I've put what I think is a very reasonable reserve on the truck, and we'll go from there. Please don't ask the reserve price, just bid what you are willing to pay.
