Vehicle Detail
I'm forced to relist due to a non paying bidder from the U.K.??Opted with the "Buy it Now" option Sunday the 18th, that's when the fun started. Major scam attempt. I've blocked all non-USA bidders..so don't waste my time or yours. The 500.00 paypal deposit is non negotiable, and must be made by the buyer within 24 hours of auction end unless CLEAR understanding and agreement by both parties prior to bidding. 1993 Chevy Z71 4X4 pickup. Engine was replaced around 10,000 miles ago with a reman 5.7L 350, runs very strong! I bought the truck for a hunting season vehicle 3 years ago & when I swapped out the engine, the trans appeared to have been recently replaced prior to my purchasing the truck also. I put on a new set of Dunlop LT285-75-16 Radial Rovers 8,000 miles ago as well. Alternator was replaced last month too. We're dealing with a 17 year old truck, so it definately has it's share of exterior bumps & bruises with a little bit of rust, but runs great with very nice interior still. Pretty much everything works fine, 4X4, heater, A/C, cruise control, aftermarket CD player, power windows, tilt steering, interior & exterior lighting,..everything except the power locks. They try to work but only cycle about half way. My guess is the lock cylinders are gummed up & the lock actuators struggle trying to operate. Might be an easy fix, won't know until the next owner pulls the door panels off & takes a look. I put the fiberglass top on this season to make life a little easier on the Brittanies, the top is in great shape and obviously is included with the final selling price. I still use the truck as my daily driver when the weather doesn't let the bike out of the garage, so the miles stated with be slightly different at auction end. I wouldn't and don't hesitate driving this truck anywhere, just time for an upgrade. Just ordered a 2010 Silverado & need the driveway space! Thanks for looking & please feel free to ask any & all questions. Or we can work out a time to take a look and a drive in person before bidding. I require a 500.00 deposit at auction end & need pickup with the balance due in certified funds within 7 days of auction end unless previous arrangements are made prior to bidding. On Apr-16-10 at 12:05:30 PDT, seller added the following information: I'll try to answer a few more questions that seem to be popular with everyone, and continue to add as common questions add up. Does the truck have a hitch? Yes..I have a hitch, receiver and ball available. I never had a need to tow, so I never installed it. It will be included and installed if the winning bidder requests that. Wiring and connector would be the winners responsibility. What other mechanical repairs have been done? Since my ownership outside of the replacement of the engine, alternator and tires I mentioned. I also replaced both front calipers, rear brakes, wheel cyl's and drums, u-joints, pitman arm, front & rear shocks, HVAC control head and blend door actuator, L/F door hinge pin kit, EGR valve and solenoid, O2 sensor, TP sensor, plugs, cap & rotor. Changed the transfer case fluid along with front & rear differential fluid change. As mentioned in the primary description. I bought this for a weekend warrior truck during hunting season and had to depend on it It became my daily driver for the last year or so. If something needed attention, it got it!
