1980 Jeep CJ 5, Clean & Clear title. The Jeep has been Smogged in Nevada as a V8. It passes with flying colors without catalytic converters. It runs extremely well and has only been on the road for 2 years since the restoration. The only thing that wasn't done was the body. No major damage just needs to be preped and painted. Here is a list with all the work and new parts for the motor: New Chevy 350 with 6,000 miles New t350 tranny with 6,000 miles New Tcase with 6,000 miles New HEI ignition New Edelbrock 650 carb New Edelbrock Intake manifold New Ceramic coated headers New Edlebrock valve covers and oil pan New 2 core aluminum raidator Motor has been rebuilt and runs extremely clean and strong Fresh Valve adjustment about a month back New Rancho 4" lift with new Rancho shocks New shackles with all new bushings Custom shackle reversal New Eagle Alloy rims 15"x10", 5x5.5 New ProComp Tires 35"x12.5" with 90% tread left New 1.25 Wheel spacers New BestTop Vinyl with no cracks in plastic, no tears, almost 100% sealed New leather bucket seats New front rotors New pads New rear wheel cylinders with pads New brake lines, lines have been flushed just resently with all new fluid. (manaul brakes, but stops very quickly) Frame has been looked at very closely with no cracks, and frame is perfectly straight with NO RUST. 1" body lift. Dash has been replaced with an all aluminum one with all new aluminum nobs and gauges. New Sunpro Tac, Volt, and oil gauges New Jeep Cluster Axles have been rebuilt with all new seals and bearing. Rear axle is an AMC 20 383 gearing with open differental Front axle is a Dana 30 383 gearing with open differental Has a been tubed in the back to clear the tires without rubbing. Now ill go and explain what needs to be finished with the jeep. As you can tell from the pictures the body is in good condition with no major body damage, just needs to be preped and painted. There are 2 small holes in the body on Pasanger and Driver side, very small couldn't even put a fingure through it. Also, the windshield wipers need to be hooked up. The wires are in place, they just need a plug to be put on and plugged in. Finally, the front drive shaft isn't installed, although I do have it. (I simply have not had the time to install it.) I do drive this jeep every day in over 100 degree temperatures, here in Vegas, without a problem. It has never left me stranded or done anything weird. This is the best CJ I have ever driven. I have owned 2 CJ5's and this one is the best so far. I have also taken it off road and it performed very well even without the drive shaft.
