This 1987 floor shifter monte carlo ss has been parked for the past 11 yrs. Prior to parking new heavy duty coil springs and shocks were installed, the rear is higher than normal,that was for clearance for 16 inch tires,that were stolen, when car was stolen (diff story),also had new brakes,rotors ,calipers and pads.Also was painted just prior to parking. Now the car is gutted inside,I have every part for this car ,plus some.( except rims,battery and carpet,no trunk lock) The original dash, not dash cover, was refinished black ,it is MINT,no cracks ,no broken screw holes,MINT. All other interior parts are original maroon color. The drivers,pass front floor has some slight rust holes about the size of a ballpoint pen puncture,the rear driver has a dollar bill or smaller size hole, the floor was sandblasted and primered (way back) to slow this corrosion. Motor,not started in 10 yrs,take it fom there! carb,distributor shaft and transmission are out, but go with car. As far as mileage the odometer states 55,852 but, while in my possession half of the speedometer cable broke, upper lower?,replaced (after car was parked),not connected.I think it was broke about a yr , but without a doubt there is under a 100,000 miles.When the car was stolen, the nose pc and front flare taken,replaced with orig. gm parts so both are ex cond. When painted , a new original door skin was installed,dr.,pass. ? Right now theres some small paint bubbling above the pass front window,and inside rear lip of trunk,not visible outside.Inside the trunk one well is rusted. I have new weather stripping (after mrkt) for both doors upper & lower,and for trunk go with car.
