Vehicle Detail
A very ORIGINAL Bahama Green coupe with saddle interior. Powered by 110hp with 4spd. This car was purchased new and meticulously maintained its entire life by a Corsa member from Connecticut. It was recently acquired from the original owner by a Chevrolet dealer for his private collection. The car looks and performs as you would expect from this model. Starts on the first turn, shifts perfectly, drives smooth, and is more quiet than most Corvairs. Everything works as designed. Chrome and stainless shines like new. Interior is original, but remains in very good condition. Top of driver seat is beginning to show wear. The car has been repainted the original color, a paint job I would rate no more than adequate. My mechanic tells me one wheel bearing has excessive play. A visor is loose. Outside rear view mirror was broken in transit, but the base is fine. Five new Guardsman tires in original size. Car comes with nearly all receipts since it was born, all the way back to $6 oil changes. This car is as straight as can be. The driver door was damaged many years ago, but the repair was apparently done by a excellent craftsman for $180 (receipt included). There are no signs of rust except for minor surface rust in the trunk. No oil leaks. This is not a show car, but it is a fine example of an original coupe that will make an excellent driver. Please ask your questions before bidding. Good luck.
