2002 Mercury Mountaineer. I am starting the auction at $2000 because I know that the transmission needs some work. I was told by a Mercury dealer that the overdrive band needs replaced. The overdrive light flashes sometimes and it hesitates to change into second gear. It also needs some brake work. The inside is in very good shape for the age of the vehicle. It has the 2nd and 3rd row seats that fold down for extra storage. It is a very roomy and comfortable car. New tires, only 3 month old. Inspection is good until June 2010. Back driver's side bumper has scratches. It is excellent in bad weather. I usually get about 19 miles/gallon.
