Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Convertible Tribute with FORD WARRANTY to 2013. This 2007-09 Shelby GT500 Tribute is built on a 2005 Ford Mustang Premium V6 Convertible with automatic transmission. I am the original owner and purchased the car new in March 2006. This car has a Satin Silver exterior with a rare red leather interior. The car has approximately 4,100 pampered miles. By the time of sale, the mileage might be slightly higher. This car has NEVER BEEN DRIVEN in SNOW or RAIN. The 2005-2009 Mustangs have an identical platform that allows interchangeable body parts. This car is a tribute of the 2007-09 Mustang Shelby GT500. This car is much like a certified vehicle because it includes a Ford Premium Care Warranty through March 2013. This does not include the GT500 conversion costs of this car ($5,000 +) plus the cost of the extended warranty through 2013 ($1,500). As of 04/02/10, Edmunds.com lists the certified vehicle value at $16,685. This value does not include the Shelby conversion costs, the Shelby Car Cover, and the value of the extended warranty. This car has a Ford Premium Care Extended Warranty in force through March 2013 and will be transferred to the new owner. I have the title in hand. This car has never been damaged or in an accident, with the exception of a small scratch above the left tail light (scratch from a child's bike) and a very small rock chip on the front bumper that were repaired by Packey Webb Ford in Downers Grove, IL. These small scratch repairs were professionally completed, including clear coat. The 2007-09 Shelby GT500 Tribute conversion was completed by Packey Webb Ford in Downers Grove, IL, an authorized Cobra/Shelby dealer for many years (www.Packeywebb.com). They also installed the Ford Racing Cold Air Kit and reprogrammed the engine to run on premium gas. The estimated horsepower gain is 12-15 hp. The Cold Air Kit also comes with the Ford EPROM Programmer if you would like to make further changes or modifications to this car. Ford OEM parts include the OEM Ford GT500 rear bumper, OEM Mud Flaps, OEM Ford Racing dual exhaust, OEM GT500 wheels, rims (from KR Conversion), OEM SVT Sill Plates, and OEM Shelby GT500 badging. The front of the car has a Tuners360 blackout grille, the OEM GT500 Shelby Grille Emblem, and a Black Air Splitter (3D Carbon). The dual black stripes run from front to back and were installed at Graphix Zone in Roselle, IL, a company that does custom graphics for most of the Ford Dealers (Shelby/Mustang) in the Chicago area. The rear spoiler is an aftermarket professionally made GT500 spoiler painted to match. From a body standpoint, a real GT 500 has a different hood and front bumper. My car was made to look similar on the front bumper and hood. This car shows as new! It is a blast to drive and turns heads all the time. Insurance costs are extremely low given the V6 engine. When you turn on the car, you hear the growl of the dual exhaust. When you step on the gas, this car really jumps and goes. No one makes fun of this car. Plus, you save tons of $money$ on insurance costs. Also, you can have your young adult driver at home drive this car for low insurance costs as well. I have thousands invested in this 2007-09 Shelby GT500 tribute car. The original MSRP was $30,000 on this car, not including the Shelby GT500 conversion costs. The Ford Premium Care Warranty cost $1,500 extra when I purchased the car. A Ford OEM Shelby GT 500 Cover is included with the car. This car cover cost $400.
