Genuine 1967 Shelby GT 500 Mustang sold new at Fogg Motors in New Westminster,BC Canada to a newly wed couple from Williams Lake ,BC.It was their honeymoon car.I know the people as I can confirm the history of all owners from that area,however I will respect their privacy.I bought the car in 1986 from who I believe to be the 3rd owner in Williams Lake and drove it home.I restored the car in 1987 and have driven it on and off since.The car is in the Shelby Registry and of note is it did have the original steering wheel replaced under warranty.This car looks amazing for 24 year old restoration and drives well.Most all original parts are on the car except for mechanical items that simply wore out.Engine,transmission,rear diff,steering,brakes,radiator,and suspension all new or rebuilt.The radiator is a "Desert Cooler" from Pheonix Arizona that I replaced so the car is able to be driven on hot summer days with no overheating issues.Hooker Headers have been installed.The Interior is all original except for carpet and premium grade seat covers.All fiberglass parts are the original pieces to this car and the fit is actually quite good.Buy car now to avoid having to pay 12% HST.Car is registered in BC since 1967 so no issues with inspections.The only form of payment is electronic direct bank deposit.Qualified Buyers may ask further questions to super427@live.com On Apr-07-10 at 00:17:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Help for those who may bid as follows This car is a"Private Individual Sale meaning purchasers from BC who buy car today will pay 7% PST to the BC Provincial Government ( Insurance Corporation of BC ) when they go to register the car. Purchasers from other jurisdictions will pay the required taxes lawfully required where they register the car. Being a "Private Sale" I the "seller" WILL NOT collect any taxes. If the car were to be purchased after July 1,2010 all buyers will be required to 12% HST to the BC Provincial Government. This car is Genuine Authentic Shelby that is able to be driven reliably,meaning the car has the original major components(engine,trans,rear axle,trim,paint colour,springs,guages,dash,and rollbar).The original motor is .030 oversize on trw flat tops and .010 under the original crankshaft with a N.O.S. C6OZ-6250-B Cobra Jet camshaft actuating Cobra Jet Valves( upgraded) in the original heads.This car has big time low end torque so have money for tires.What are not "Date Coded" N.O.S parts are the things like sparkplug wires,alternator,tires,and hoses.This car can be DRIVEN!Hence I have replaced the point type ignition with a Pertronix Ignitor so car runs so much better but looks original as the distributor is the Ford dual point and the factory original tach works perfectly normal.Being a 24 year restoration I feel the car has better true representation of what the car quality "really is" as nothing is freshly hidden or covered up by fresh filler and or paint!When the car is viewed a person can truly see what the car is about.I own a Modern Collision Repair Shop and could have very easily "repainted" but I choose to sell at face value so a buyer confidently sees and knows what they are buying!Thecar looks amazing for a 24 year old restoration!I have also put 20,000 miles on the car while I have owned it.Of special note,when I restored the car in 1986 I bought what I suspect may be the last 4 Genuine Shelby 10 Spoke wheels from Carroll Shelby Industries in Gardena,Ca and can remember the boxes that they came in,but at the time it was just an "Old Shelby Mustang" so I did not keep the boxes,nor did I bother with a Marty Report.The purchaser of this car can accept delivery,put license on it then wash it and drive it daily!
