Vehicle Detail
Everything works now. CTIS was repaired and so was slow power steering leak and I drove from Arizona to Chattanooga. I am Selling my 1999 HUMMER H1 Wagon. Here's your chance to purchase an incredible truck for an incredible price. This truck was set up by the previous owner for some serious expedition work. The list of upgrades is long so please bear with me while I try to cover them all. First off, the 1999 H1's benefited from many of the major upgrades by the Hummer factory such as a vastly improved A/C system, improved passenger leg room, 17 gal aux fuel tank along with the 27 gal main, various engine upgrades. This H1 also has the optional rear A/C-heater system. The 1999's also had the first attempt at traction control using the ABS brake system. This H1 has 170,390 miles with careful maintained. Documentation includes having the ENGINE REPLACED on 1/17/03 at 102,324 miles by Lynch Hummer, the world's largest Hummer dealer. Thus the current engine has only 68K miles and it runs beautifully. No leaks, starts instantly, pulls strong. New brakes pads and calipers, parking brake overhauled as well. The interior, as can be seen in the pictures, is in remarkably nice condition for it's age and mileage! Never smoked in, no rips, tears, holes, etc. Perfect headliner, door panels etc. All the power windows, power locks, keyless entry, etc work. The A/C blows nice and cold, front and rear. Right rear tire is brand new, the remaining 3 are at 75% tread left. The truck spent most of it's life in Texas, and is largely rust free. All four geared hubs are leak free. There are two small spots where the paint is has bubbled on the right rear corner of the wagon top. There is a small 1 inch crack in the gel coat of the front fiberglass at the right side hood tie down binder, it does not appear to be structural. I also have both keyless entry remotes and keys, remote controls for the Sony head unit, the DVD system, the back up mirror monitor system, the navigation system, owners manual, plus part and shop manuals on CD. Now for the upgrades: ALL exterior lights, brake/tail/marker/turn has just been replaced/upgraded to new style LED's. Headlights also replaced with new Hella E-Code H4 assy with Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. The custom front brush-guard is massively built, frame mounted, and the whole thing dipped in Rhino-Lining. The optional aux lighting bar up top includes (4) - Pro Comp 55watt driving lamps and the brush guard has an additional (2) Pro Comps and (2) KC Dayliter HID driving lamps. These are true HID's with ballasts. The upgraded alternator more than handles the load, night is like day. The engine has the PMD(Pump Mounted Driver) relocation kit to improve it's longevity. The drivetrain has been upgraded with ARB Air Locker locking differentials front and rear with their own compressor. The entire driveline has the optional ladder guards installed to provide additional protection. Both sides along the rocker panel area have custom rock sliders made from 1/4" aluminum with wrap around trays, completely sprayed in Rhino-Lining, that cover the underside all the way to the driveline providing snag free underside. The Adventure Accessories 3/4 roof rack is also massively built of billet aluminum. There is a Thule Box which contains all the shower head hoses and portable shower enclosure. Yes, shower! The two large tanks on each side of the Thule box are 20 gallon stainless steel water tanks, wrapped in heavy rubber insulation and also sprayed in black Rhino-Lining. The water lines are also stainless steel Parker-Hannifin insulated lines with stainless fittings and valves, all tied to a circulation pump controlled form the dash. The lines are run to a massive water to water closed loop heat exchanger tied into the engine cooling system. So, you're out in the boonies, fire up the engine, turn on the circulation pump, check the dash mounted digital thermometer till it gets to 108 or so, then go take a nice hot shower. The system is bullet proof reliable. The rear bumper is also a custom built masterpiece. Massively overbuilt of 1/4 plate steel, powder coated for complete corrosion protection with an integrated spare tire carrier, stock towing loops, and a Class IV hitch. The rear bumper is also an additional 13 gallon aux fuel tank! Together with the two stock tanks, you have nearly 60 gallons of fuel for incredible range considering the truck returns 14-15 MPG if driven conservatively. The rear bumper tank has a stock fill and vent system, and it's fed through a filter and aux transfer pump controlled by an on dash switch. It's tied into the fill hose of the main tank, so run the main down to about a 1/4, hit the switch and refill the main. The interior has also been upgraded with a DVD system that plays on the drop down screen for the front passenger, the pop up screen on the Sony head unit and the third screen built into the SAVY rear view mirror/ back up camera, although the back up camera itself hasn't been installed. The Sony unit also has a 6 disc CD changer, XM satellite radio, and a large amp driving upgraded speakers in the Monsoon sound system along with a pounding sub woofer enclosure under the left rear passenger seat. It also has a large capacity 110V inverter system and A/V inputs to run your XBox or Playstation type video games on the screens. All upgrades made to this truck were made with careful attention to detail and used top of the line components. I think that about covers the upgrades. The truck speaks for itself, it's very nice, and someone is going to get a great deal on a one of a kind collectors item. I have tried to be absolutely as honest as possible in my description. That said, the truck being sold AS IS-WHERE IS, no warranties expressed or implied other than I guarantee the title to be clean and clear. No trades please. Please take a look at the pictures and please ask questions about any areas I may have forgotten. If there are pictures of any areas you would like to see more detailed pics of just ask.
