Up for auction I have a 1959 Chrysler Windsor Golden Lion edition. It is a very complete and solid car. I bought it with good intentions, but hobbies and needs have changed. The good- Engine is a 383. First year of it. All complete and intact. Push button automatic. Really neat. Not sure if it works, car has not ran during the time I have owned it. Power seats. They work! I hooked up a battery to them when I got this car a few years ago and they freakin' worked! Never have I been so surprised. Swivel bench. Really cool. I know the upholstery is not up to par, but these are a rally neat option. Glass. It is all there and it is not broken! Can you believe it? Trim. All there! Two pieces are off of it, but they are in the back seat. All the chrome and stainless is great on this car. Look at the pictures. The bumpers, grille, side and roof trim are very good and complete. The body. Pretty darn good. There is a dent in the driver side rear quarter panel, but this car is 51 years old. It is in better shape than I would expect. The Bad- Engine is locked up. I had it broke loose a couple years back. I had soaked the cylinders and rotated the crank, but it is back the way I got it. Might be able to get it loose again. Have seen these engines run after they have been locked up then broke loose. Great engines. Upholstery. Covers are pretty beat up. Will need to be recovered. Body. There is a hole in the floorboard on the passenger side that I can see. Age- Car has not been on the road for at least 10 years that I know of. But this is a graet example of the way cars were built and the style they had back then. Show me a neon when it is 51 years old. I will try to answer any questions as soon as possible. Ask away.
