I'm relisting this car due to a "confused" ebayer who for what ever reason, thought this car was located in Texas. It's in Pennsylvania! Please ask questions up front, before you bid. Thanks! Hello and thanks for looking. Up for bid is this 1999 Mercury Cougar with 217,000 miles. This car starts with no problems. Engine sounds and runs good. The transmission shifts smoothly, no slipping. The body overall is solid, no major rust that I've seen. It obviously needs paint in some areas. My daughter has used this car for the past four years while going to college and has served her well. I replaced all four tires last May, so there is plenty of tread left on them. The interior is in good condition. She received a smaller more gas friendly car from a relative, so this is why it's being sold. I took these pictures today and after setting for three months without being used, it started right up with no problems. Here is what is known to be wrong with the car: Needs new rear struts There is an oil leak, according to my mechanic it needs a crankshaft seal replaced. Drivers side door needs paint and adjusting. Passenger side wheel fenders need paint. There is a slightly noticeable flicker of the lights. The check engine light is on. The hood has some minor dimples near the front and on the passengers side. The moulding on the passengers side rear quarter panel has become loose. The winning bidder is responsible for any taxes, transfer fees, etc., as well as any transport fees.
