Here is a 1972 MG Midget that I'm offering for sale that is a nice driver quality example. I originally purchased this vehicle through Ebay several years ago from the previous owner. From the time that I purchased the car I have made a few improvements which includes a repaint, new tires, new battery and performed normal maintenance. The vehicle had already received a repaint with metal and rust repairs by the previous owner of it's original color (red). The body did have rust in the typical areas that these cars usually have the worst being at the lower rear quarter panels or wings. In these areas the rust was cut out and new metal welded in and the entire exterior of the vehicle stripped of finish to the bare metal. The car was primed with self etching prime and refinished with a good quality urethane base clear finish. The previous owner had also replaced many parts which include interior carpet, interior trim panels, instrument panel dash pad cover, a replacement convertible top, (which now has a small cut that is repaired - see photo), new clutch, pressure plate, throw-out-bearing, aftermarket exhaust system, clutch slave and master cylinder. This is a fun little car to run around town in as it drives and operates decently, it does leak a small amount of oil from the engine and smokes on start-up after not being in use for long periods of time. Most all the electrical functions work with the exception of the horn, fuel gauge, and heater fan, (not installed, but have).
