Up for sale is a 1 1/2 owners ( brother sold to brother) a 1986 300SDL Turbo Diesel that has been garaged and pampered!! Only 133K miles!! This beauty is a Florida car with no rust!! I would put this car at a 8.5 out of 10! The paint is in really nice shape and shines like crazy! Let me give you some details about the car. The original owner had the car for almost 20 years when he sold it too his brother. The last owner of the past five years did the following: 1. Replaced entire a/c system. It blows ice cold. 2. Replaced glow plugs 3. Replaced radiator 4. Replaced fuel lines 5. Replaced tires with michelins that are about 75% 6. Replaced brakes and rotors 7. Replaced alternator These were all done within the last 25K miles. Last week I replaced the motor and transmission mounts. The car rides and shifts like a dream! The interior is in very nice shape. The dash has one small (1 inch crack near the speaker which is not very noticable. Probably could be fixed very easily. The drivers seat is being resprung on wednesday. This will make for a better ride!The motor purrs like a kitten and blows no smoke. It is so quite my wife did not know it was a diesel! Car is located in my garage in Florida. Also, I had the car inspected last week and the bosch certified mechanic noted that the car will need a belt tensioner and castor joints. They said I could wait until the next service at 135K.
