Vehicle Detail

1967 Ford Mustang Coupe – Red with Black Interior This 289 V8/3-speed Mustang was purchased in 2001 with 63K original miles and has been in storage since 2003. Before being stored I upgraded the motor to Mustang K-code (HiPo) standards. I had the engine rebuilt .030 overbore with high-performance parts to match or exceed HiPo standards. The transmission and brakes were rebuilt with modern components. Complete overhaul of suspension with new KYB gas adjustable shocks. See below for rebuild specs. Started fixing up the interior then ran out of time and garage space. I put it in "short-term" storage in 2003. It's still there, waiting to be driven. The body is solid with the exception of rust in the passenger footwell and passenger-side rocker panel. It’s going to need some work to degunk the motor and get it running (plus new battery and tires). It was a $6K car when I bought it and I have receipts for well over $9K in professional mechanical restorations and improvements, plus about $1K in interior parts that will be included in the sale.
