Up for sale is my beautiful 1963 Cadillac convertible. This car is a solid driver and will make a great car for someone! It's powered by the 390 with 3-speed Hydro glide transmission. This car is equipped with power steering, power brakes, power top, power windows, power seat, air conditioning, updated disc brakes, new radial tires and a killer sounding modern stereo system with the head unit hidden in the glove box. All systems are functioning as they should The engine has 107k it runs okay but it is tired and could use a rebuild in the future, The transmission shifts well but is leaking out of the tail seal.: I have put a new carburetor, new water pump, new spark plugs and new alternator I do drive this car around town and it does okay. When I freshened up the engine I also did a new exhaust from the manifold back and I check the compression, all cylinders are between 175 and 180 compression. This really is a rare opportunity to get a 63 convertible at a good price. The interior is in great shape with only a small rip on the driver side seat besides that it shows very nice, the dash pad has zero cracks and the leather is still very supple. The convertible top was put on about two years ago and still looks like brand new it goes up and down with ease. Bodywork I would give a solid 8 out of 10 it has a few paint blisters at the bottom of the doors that will need to be addressed at some point and a small dent in the passenger side quarter panel. Besides that the base coat clear coat paint is in beautiful shape. The body for the most part is rust free and very straight. This car has a very clean undercarriage with Factory undercoating still in place. The Chrome and bright work on the car is in good condition as well with zero pitting or rust. The way it sits it is a true beauty and with a little extra effort it could be a showstopper! I've enjoyed it exactly the way it is over the years taking it to shows and using it as a daily driver around town. The only reason for selling is I was presented the opportunity to buy a good friend's 1949 Buick Road master convertible. so I'm in the position where I need to free up some garage space and extra money so sadly I'm letting the Cadillac go to a new home.
