This is a project that is converting this car to a mild hot rod, it is supposed to be a car that has the look of 50' s but, it is reliable to be driven every day. And can be updated fairly easy with power steering, conditioning and fuel injected system. Below is the story: 1955 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan. This project started with a rust free body that went through a frame off disassembly. It was sand blasted, covered by self etching primer and then poly primer, it was then painted in the late Ford Blue and white paint. The bottom of the car is painted in black.There is a very small dent on the right front door caused by a small ladder that fell and hit the door. ( Last pictures ) It is fitted with a brand new crate Chevy 350 engine coupled to a professionally rebuilt 700R4 transmission. It has an Edelbrock 1407 carburetor. Drive shaft is professionally balanced and fitted to the original differential. Front brakes are converted to disk and the rear are the original drum. It has all new brake all around, and power brake installed. It has brand new wheels and tires. The car is mechanically done, and needs nothing. Here is the list of what is left: Dash needs to be painted and installed ( Some paint included, enough for dash and inside trim ). The wiring needs to be done for the whole car. ( A wiring kit included )Both front and rear seat and door panel are upholstered. Need to installMost of the car including inside of the top and doors and floor and quarter panels are covered with sound deadening material.
