I recently purchased a newer TDI, so this one is looking for a new home.It is in overall good condition, but has wear and tear expected in a car this age. (some rust on fenders, dents, chips, falling headliner, etc) Owned by a single, non-smoking adult. It is modified, with a full EGR delete and straight pipe all the back with a RocketChip tune. I don't know the exact numbers, but it definitely has more power than my stock 2009 Jetta TDI. It also has a hitch and trailer wiring installed. A FrostHeater makes for easy starting on cold mornings with an easy access plug on the front left corner. The transmission was swapped from a 2009 Jetta with approx. the same mileage, giving it a slightly better gear ratio on the highway, plus the newer DSGs are generally considered more reliable. Wheels are Konig Oversteers with stock size Michelin Defenders. Tires don't have much life left. Maintenance performed within the last 2 1/2 years includes: Timing belt/water pump/coolant flush,Camshaft and lifters replaced,Front and rear struts and shocks replaced (All at 145k miles) Installed remanufactured drive axles from Raxles.Replaced DMF (Dual Mass Flywheel) at same time as transmission swap.All new motor mountsNew brakes all around within the last yearNew rear wheel bearings at the same time as brakes. Known issues:Slight front end shake at highway speedOccasional hesitation/stumbling at full throttle/full load (probably tune related)I do not have the security code for the radio that is installed. The car had an aftermarket radio when I purchased it. I do have the VIN of the car the radio is from.
