This is a listing for a 2003 Mercedes SLK230 Convertible, Runs and Drives, with about 70K Miles as listed on Title. It was hit in the rear, and the Insurance company declared it as Salvage. The Salvage title states that this is a REPAIRABLE car, meaning it can be fixed and be road worthy once again. Engine runs strong, with no leaks or noises, Auto Transmission shifts normally. Convertible Top opens manually, The Front & Driver's Hydraulic Cylinders are needed for the Vario Roof to work properly. Interior is in Fair Condition, Please see photos. This is a Great Project car! It obviously would need work to make it Road worthy, or the Engine, Transmission, and most of the Parts can be used for another Project Car. Or it can be taken apart and its parts sold individually. Just Engine/Trans alone with this mileage could go up to $1,200.00. All body parts are good, as well as the Convertible Roof, Exhaust, interior (fair), etc. It also has a BRAND New Battery and a Reconditioned Radiator. I bought it to use the Eng/Trans on a 1998 project car, but many mods were needed, so I decided to can the project instead. My lost your GAIN!.
