This car is a great example of a well cared for, garage kept, Mercedes Benz. Truly one of the best and most elegant color combinations offered from Mercedes for the 560SL. I searched through a 1000 cars to find this excellent example. This car runs and drives better than any 560SL I have driven. It has the best interior I have ever seen on an SL of this age. Unfortunately I now need to sell this dream car. The car has original paint and has never been in an accident (it has one small dent most likely from removing the hard top [see image]). It is an original car including the radio which looks new and the speakers which sound great (which is rare). All gauges, vents and air conditioner work perfectly. Car has two tops in great condition. The spare tire is new and has never been on the car. The tools and 560SL owner's manual are original and included. This car is in remarkable shape for its age including the wheels which look like new. This is an investment quality car as it has never been altered. I think that the R107 Mercedes SL is the next big collector car and will follow the evaluation path of the Pagoda models from the 1970s. Just as the last two years of the Pagoda cars (1970,71) are the cars to have, the model years for the R107 that will be the most desirable will be 1988-89. In 2018 the 1988 model became 30 years old and should soon take a nice jump in value. The car is located near Pasadena, CA. There is no reserve and I must sell this investment vehicle now.
