Vehicle Detail
this truck has been extensively modified/upgraded and most of it was replaced with new Ford component...Ford OEM, Motorsports, Ford racing or Bosch. starting with the chassis it was repainted with dual coat and had new chrome, a ram air hood and Ford lightning nose and bumper attached about 4 years ago, and I had bed liner applied at that time, a year later I used Eastwood thermal and sound deadening insulation from the firewall to the tailgate and lined the doors. i then added new charcoal carpeting and Corbou bucket seats, i replaced the door panels and steering wheel with new original factory ones, the only part of the interior untouched was back seat (intended to get it reupholstered) installed rear view camera and upgraded the sound system, added roll bars with padding and reinforced the convertible top with aluminum channels. then I went under the truck. I cleaned and stripped the frame and POR 15 about 80%, installed nerf bars upgraded the body where needed, converted the rear brakes to disc and rebuilt the fuel tank (sealed inside and POR 15 outside) added a new motorsports sending unit and Hi flow pump, in addition, it has new 16 inch alloy wheels and Wrangler RTS tires...maybe 1000 miles on them, I replaced most of the lights with LED and added a black canvas convertible top. for the engine it was rebuilt, and i installed GT 40 Aluminum heads, Edelbrock Performer intake, MSD distributor and coil, new Accel 25lb fuel injectors to work with heads, has ford racing aluminum valve covers and the exhaust system is all Bassani stainless from the emission control headers/and Cat to tail pipe. the emission system was replaced with new ford parts, the firewall was insulated, again with Eastwood aluminum sound/heat insulation. the starter and alternator are new as well think they are both Bosch. I have been working on this truck as my personal toy for several years now, put only the best into it, and i believe i still have receipts for over $15K worth of parts in glove box. I personally have run out of time and must return to school to finish or the VA will stop paying...so my choice are simple, sell it to someone who can finish it and has the time/knowledge or let it rot for a year+. it has a new computer (just received it the other day). as it was Mass air conversion it required a new and different one and as i am rushed, by the time it arrived i had no time to install.. i was told by techs at speedometer and electrical of Billings, that it was all it needed to get on the road, and wiring was set up by them prior...Title is ready for new buyer upon pick up, and it will need to trailered out as it will still need timing, and standard debugging expected after new engine install. currently vehicle cranks but new computer needs to be installed to run fuel pump/spark
