1966 Cadillac DeVille Convertible
- This car was bought new by an Avon lady in Kansas City Missouri and it has been kept in a heated garage it's entire life. I acquired the car through an estate. I was going to keep with my other 3 old Cadillacs but decided not to. This is an unrestored car. Power windows, power seat, power top, Wonderbar radio, power antenna, climate control, you name it all works except the clock. It has brand new tires and it just passed a Missouri state safety inspection. This car has had leaded gas substitute kept in the tank so it does not smoke from using unleaded gas. The top is excellent and needs nothing. The pictures show it sticking up above the rear glass but it lays down flat after the top has been up for a few minutes. The car has a new convertible top motor and battery. The paint is old lacquer and shows some age. This car has never had any shade tree work on it like 99% of old cars. No spliced and patched up wiring, missing a/c components, hammer installed parts, holes butchered in the dash, missing parts, missing bolts, and wood screws holding trim on, etc. The sheet metal on the car is rock solid. The fenders, quarters, rockers, floor boards, and trunk have had no rust or rust repairs and are original. I have driven the car 150+ miles recently. Drive it home. I would be happy to work with an auto transport company as I do it all the time. This is a hard to find unrestored, complete, and highway ready classic Cadillac DeVille convertible. Mid 60s Cadillac convertibles that are going up every year. If you want an original driver car or a complete car that is restoreable to a show room without buying 5 parts cars and fixing rust this is it.
