I bought this motorcycle new in 2002. It has been kept in a garage and properly maintained in the years since. It was running fine until the splines on the transmission input shaft wore out which means a new shaft and clutch assembly. I do not have the time or inclination to fix myself and I have another newer motorbike to ride. Other than the repairs I stated, the bike is in excellent condition and complete. It has never been crashed or abused. The tires are in good shape and the motor runs strong. The transmission other than the input shaft is fine as is the final drive. I installed a Stayintune exhaust, sport handlebar, and Sargent seat. The seat is relatively new and in perfect condition. I also have the original exhaust parts, service manual, and maintenance records. The bike has heated hand grips and the BMW fly screen. I also have a backrest that can be installed. If you are able to make the repair yourself this motorcycle still has a lot of miles left in it and I have enjoyed it immensely. Let me know if you have any questions.
