Affectionately know in our family as the "sexy van," this reliable van was my dads. He is too old to drive now, so it's time to sell. I actually drove it for a few months and liked it a lot, but we already have more cars than we need. Functionally, it's great. Everything works. It runs smooth. It has a nice stereo upgrade with bluetooth, USB, handsfree, and a great speaker upgrade all the way around. The Interior is in good shape. Not perfect, but good shape. There is one burn in the front seat (see photo). Not sure what it's from, because nobody has ever smoked in the car. The glass is great. I had the windshield replaced about 6 months ago and I don't see any cracks or anything. All the lights work, inside and out. The odometer is a strange thing. The display for the odometer is too dim to see most of the time. Sometimes at night, you can make out the numbers, but most of the time it just looks blank. If you look up this problem it's pretty common in this vintage of Ford dash displays. All it is, is a failing light essentially. The odometer still works, but you just can't see the numbers. I had the shop that has cared for the van hook it up to their computer. The photo that shows the odometer reading is from their computer. There will be a few more miles on the car than that reading shows (under 50 more). The shop would be happy to talk with anyone who's curious about the odometer or the condition of the van. The exterior is just okay. There are a few spots that are rough around the edges. The front, right bumper has some damage. There are a couple rust spots that need some love. And there is a good sized set of scratches on the passenger side door. The photos show the damage I'm referring to. Please help the sexy van find a new loving home!
