This is a used Volvo 240 with ABS that runs and drives well. We gave this to our babysitter's son for Christmas, who just got his learner's permit. Unfortunately, the cost of insurance for an 18-year old male in NJ is over $3,500 a year (ridiculous!) So we got it back and are now selling it to recoup the purchase and costs for maintenance we spent. The engine runs well, transmission shifts smooth, car is solid, no body damage and has no rust. The roof and right side paint is faded, please see photos. Recent full tune up, oil change, and new timing belt done. Brand new brakes with all 4 rotors and pads, new battery and a new set of tires also, so you're good to go from a mechanical perspective as we had all the work done to make sure he had a safe and reliable car. Cosmetically, the paint needs a good detail and the interior is in below average condition with several trim pieces broken and the top of the dash is cracked. The moonroof doesn't open, and there are other minor issues. Could use a good detail. The radio does not work and I don't have the code to unlock it, sorry. Clear title. Sold as is sale is final.
