Vehicle Detail
Original unmolested 1971 Ossa 250 Pioneer survivor with 2544 miles. Runs and rides like a new bike! Almost new tires. Carburetor tuned by Mid-Atlantic Vintage Bikes / Alex Snoop. This the orignal, dependable IRZ carb with a low and high speed needle jets. This bike is at home in a trials event or running over 70MPH. Headlight works on both high beam & low beam, Tail light and brake light work, horn works. Key switch works. Operating speedometer / odometer. Seat and tool box in excellent condition. Some new small parts. Original Owner's manual and very rare 1971 / 1972 Ossa Five Speed Workshop manual . Tuffy replacement front fender plus Airtech E-71 fiberglass front fender and Spanish Ossa 250 Enduro / Six Day / Stiletto rear fender with OEM front fender reflectors & correct EMGO Lucas tail light tag holders. Correct Leonelli electrical switchbox new horn. Very original down to the passenger foot pegs included. Motoplat ignition runs the engine and charges the battery for the lights & horn. Vintage 1972 title and 1974 license plate for vintage bike events. Old school road and track exhaust. Tiny fiberglass flaw in tank. Exhaust silencer scratched. Other than that this Ossa is very nice. Beautiful patina. I will sell the motorcycle with a clean current South Carolina title. This is a street legal vintage dirt bike. Think about it? I owned a few dirt bikes back in the day. I bought a 1971 Ossa 250 Pioneer in 1973 from a friend that just bought the "new SDR" and road the hell out of that Pioneer. The Penton 125, Triumph 500, Bultaco Alpina all let me down. The Ossa just kept running. This is a duplicate of that Ossa. Always garage kept. It is a very good handling dirt bike that needs to be preserved. They don't make them like this anymore. I also had a Ossa Wildfire which was a wicked street bike way back when. I will help coordinate & load it on a delivery truck but will not deliver the bike myself.
