Hi, Thanks for visiting my auction. Up for sale is a 1973 Datsun 240Z in nice condition. I have enjoyed using this very reliable car as a daily driver for the past two years. My wife and I have even taken short trips out of town in it with no issues. Body Description: It was originally sold in San Jose California and it is completely rust free both on the top and bottom side. All body panels are original including floor pans and trunk floor with NO patches. Even the lower fender panels are original with no rust (these usually get rusted and need replacing). The color is Nissan Bronze (paint code 114). This is the original color. It was resprayed in the mid-80's. At some point, the front valence panels were replaced with a fiberglass spoiler. I am including the valence panels with the sale. The outer valence panels are Nissan Bronze but center valance is in primer grey. If you want to switch back they would need to be painted to match.The body has some chips and dings, the worse being the small dent in the hood that is shown in the pictures. All the window glass is perfect! No chips or cracks or haze. The gaskets have a tight seal, the windows and doors open and close like new. The rims are not original. The gold rims are from a later Datsun model 280Z they accent the car and look great! I have the original mags and will include them with the sale. Also, the tires are in nice condition with good tread. Engine:Runs like new. Starts up of the choke, fast idles properly with no smoke. You will think you are in 1973 and are driving it off the showroom floor. Runs perfectly!! Has had a complete tune-up and oil service.Has an upgraded transmission, 280Z 5-speed overdrive. I especially enjoy this feature when driving on the highway. Shifting the clutch is easy, no clunks, grinding, or bearing noises. Works silky smooth. Replaced the radiator, fuel pumps, and starter. I also replaced the brake calipers, brake pads and greased the wheel bearings. I have the original radiator that is included in the sale. Interior:Carpets are in good shape. The seats are very presentable. The dash pad is good but does have a crack. You will see this is the photos. My favorite part of the interior is the cherry wood steering wheel. It is a beauty! ALL the gauges work like new. The clock, the oil pressure, the temperature, the speedometer, the tachometer, even the amp gauge. Features:HAS DEALER INSTALLED AC!!!!! and it WORKS really well! I replaced the compressor, the condenser, all hoses, and the dryer. Original parts are included in the sale.Heater and vent controls also operate like new. The radio is the original single speaker am/fm system, it will take you back in time. Has a power antenna that operates as it should. The lights, turn signals, horn, hazard flashers, and wipers work. Seat belt reels operate and even has the shoulder belt harnesses. Door key locks and latches all work properly. The spare tire is good and the toolkit and jack are present. I have the original warranty service booklet with the warrenty card. I also have the original owners manual and tons of repair receipts.Title is ready to be signed over to the new owner. I took lots of close up pictures to accurately represent the quality of this car. Please inspect them thoroughly for they are the best description. You are welcome to come to see the car and test drive it. Milage is 134,795 and may go up slightly due to road tests.
