This is a 1973 SL125 Honda the last year offered for the SL125 Honda. Only the 1973 had the black headlight and side covers, I purchased this Honda in 1976 from the original owner and is a all original bike except for restoration and up grades. The Honda was taken apart every nut and bolt then check for broken or worn parts. The engine was gone through and new rings, gaskets, seals and valves re seated and re assembled to factory specifications. The steel frame parts were stripped to bear medal, sanded, primed and three coats of correct silver paint followed by four coats of clear coat and new decals added. Some of the new parts include new tires, new fork seals and oil, new seat assembly, handle bar levers, rubbers, grips and mirrors, and gas petcock and gas cap. The SL125 starts on one kick, runs and idles like a new bike. The transmission shifts through all five gears like new. Everything works like it should, all lights bright and low beam with bright light indicator, and brake lights front and back and horn. The Honda has 3100 actual miles and mileage reset works like it should. for all practical purposes this bike is new. The Honda has a clear Michigan title. You will never find another 1973 SL125 Honda this nice for this price.
